One unit, multiple rooms

The Carisma CRSL-ECM delivers conditioned air from a single concealed unit to 3–4 adjacent rooms through insulated ductwork. Hidden in a plant room, ceiling void or service cupboard, it provides discreet and efficient climate control.

High-pressure duct performance

With up to 80 Pa of available static pressure, the CRSL-ECM handles long duct runs, multiple branch connections and complex routing. It is an ideal solution for refurbishment projects and buildings with restricted ceiling spaces.

Precise EC motor control

Available in four airflow capacities, the CRSL-ECM uses continuous 1–10 V EC motor modulation to match room demand. The result is stable temperatures, quiet operation and excellent energy efficiency without unnecessary fan cycling.

How Efficient 50% lower EC inverter motor continuously modulates speed to room load. No on/off cycling waste, just precise comfort.

Cool Output 1.7–6.0 kW Central 1-unit design serves 3–4 small rooms via high-pressure ductwork. Design water temperature: 7°C.

Heat Output 1.8–6.8 kW Serves 3–4 adjacent rooms from one central unit. Design water temperature: 35–50°C.

Airflow Range 95–900 m³/h Four airflow sizes with up to 80 Pa static pressure for complex duct routing.

How Loud 23–28 dB(A) Insulated ductwork minimizes motor and airflow noise. Continuous speed control keeps sound levels low.

Duct Pressure 80 Pa Supports longer ducts, additional branch splits, and retrofit installations.

Energy Rating A A-rated heating efficiency. Available as a seasonal 2-pipe heating/cooling system.

Power 230 V Single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz supply. Typical power consumption below 50 W.

Central or per-room thermostats

Choose a central wall thermostat (WM-AU, WM-S-ECM, or CB-T-ECM) for whole-unit control, or per-room wall thermostats when motorised dampers are installed. The thermostat continuously adjusts fan speed to maintain each room's setpoint.

WiFi and building automation

Advanced options include WiFi-enabled remote control (T-MB2, CB-Touch via app) and Modbus/KNX building automation integration. Motorised per-room dampers enable independent room temperature control — ideal for hotels, clinics, and office floors where occupants need individual setpoint adjustment.

Manual or motorised dampers

Manual dampers (simplest, lowest cost) allow occupants to modulate their room's airflow manually. Motorised dampers (higher cost, full control) adjust automatically via per-room sensors or BACnet/KNX commands.

01 Design & chat 45 minutes · by phone Confirm the correct unit size, duct routing through the ceiling void (minimum 350–400 mm depth for insulated ducts), ductwork insulation thickness (typically 40–50 mm mineral wool), diffuser locations in each room, and the per-room damper strategy. Architectural coordination is completed before installation.

02 Fit day 4–6 days · on site Engineer confirms ceiling void clearances, fabricates and installs pre-insulated ductwork (rigid galvanised steel or flexible), mounts the unit in the plant room, connects water and electrical supplies, installs dampers and diffusers in each room, commissions the thermostat, and tests cooling performance across all rooms.

03 Learn how to use 30 minutes · same day We walk you through thermostat operation, manual or motorised damper adjustment, annual ductwork and filter inspection, and condensate drain maintenance to ensure reliable long-term system performance.

Annual filter service

Inspect and clean or replace the polypropylene cellular fabric filter annually, or more often in dusty environments. The EC motor and inverter board are sealed and require no lubrication — no specialist tools or engineer visit needed for routine upkeep.

Water circuit checks

Water connections are 1/2" BSP brass fittings with 10 bar maximum operating pressure. Check chilled water supply temperature (7°C target) and pressure annually. If cooling performance drops, check for blocked ductwork, damaged dampers, or coil scaling.

5-year warranty

Carisma CRSL-ECM comes with a 5-year warranty covering all mechanical and electrical components, subject to annual maintenance documentation. Extended warranty and professional maintenance packages are available.
