Tap lever

The only control the user ever touches. Push the lever, water flows. Release, water stops. Mechanical — no solenoid, no electronics, no software update. Lasts the life of the kitchen.

Mains inlet isolator

Quarter-turn ball valve upstream of the system. Turn off when going away for more than two weeks. Engineer’s on/off for service work.

Storage tank ball valve

Between the tank and the system. Lets the engineer service the filters without dropping or draining the tank. Lockable for letting properties on changeover days.

Drain saddle valve

Isolates the drain line. Used by the engineer during cartridge change to avoid spillage — bypasses the small amount of reject water that would otherwise run during the swap.

TDS sample port

Small push-fit port on the product line. Engineer takes a TDS reading at each annual service to verify the membrane is still rejecting at 95%+. Below 95% triggers a membrane swap.

Pressure gauge · optional

Clip-on gauge shows mains and post-membrane pressure. Useful for diagnosing slow-flow complaints — tells you straight away whether the issue is mains or filter clogging. £35 add-on.

Inline digital TDS · optional

Battery-powered TDS display fitted on the tap line. Two buttons: mode (inlet vs outlet TDS) and calibrate. Shows real-time purity on the worktop. £65 add-on for the data-curious owner.

No power switch

Deliberate. No plug, no power switch, no firmware. A power cut has zero effect on Standard PRO — you can still pour a glass of water. Pumped versions (P’ure Balance Pumped) do need a 230 V supply.

Four-housing filter block

A single moulded block holds stages 1, 2, 3 and 5. Food-grade polypropylene, quarter-turn cartridges. Pressure-rated to 8 bar. This is the part you see when you open the cupboard.

RO membrane housing

Separate inline housing for the stage 4 thin-film composite membrane (75 GPD class). Replaced every 2–3 years based on the TDS reading at annual service.

Aquaspring slot · empty

The 6-Stage chassis includes a fifth housing for the Aquaspring re-mineralisation cartridge. On the 5-Stage that slot stays empty — capped off, ready to retrofit later if you decide you want the mineral-balanced taste.

12 L pressurised tank

Pre-charged steel tank with food-grade EPDM bladder. 0.5 bar factory pre-charge. Stands or lies under the sink. Ten-year design life.

Dedicated chrome faucet

Slim lever-style drinking-water tap. Drilled into the worktop next to your main kitchen tap. Chrome standard, brushed nickel on request, no extra cost.

Drain saddle clamp

Clamps onto the existing waste pipe under the sink. Self-piercing — no soldering, no repipe, no cuts. The drain output is the small amount of concentrated reject water from stage 4.

John Guest tubing & fittings

1/4" food-grade LDPE tubing in colour codes: blue inlet, red drain, white product. Push-fit fittings throughout. Tool-free service.

Mounting plate

Pre-drilled steel plate fixes the filter block to the cupboard side wall or the back of the carcass. Keeps the unit upright and off the cupboard floor.

Dedicated kitchen tap

Slim chrome spout installed next to your main kitchen tap. Press the lever, RO water comes out. Your regular tap still works normally for washing-up — you don’t waste filtered water on dishes.

12 L storage tank

Pressurised tank under the sink holds ready-filtered water. Pour a full kettle in seconds. Refills automatically as you use it — usually back to full in 2–3 hours.

Coffee, tea, cooking

Bigger taste change shows up in cold drinking water — chlorine gone, soft, neutral. Specialty-coffee guides actually recommend re-mineralised water (the 6-Stage) for espresso; 5-Stage is fine for filter coffee, tea, stocks, ice.

Pause for holiday

Going away for more than a fortnight? Turn the inlet isolator off and flush the tank when you’re back. We’ll show you the sequence on handover.

Annual filter kit

From £40. Replaces stages 1, 2, 3, 5 in one tool-free swap. CleverBloom service plan includes the kit, the visit, the TDS test and the tank sanitisation — or DIY in 15 minutes and we post the kit.

Membrane every 2–3 yr

Stage 4 (the RO membrane) lasts longer than the other stages. We test it on each annual visit with a TDS meter and replace only when rejection drops below 95%.

Tank sanitisation

Every three years we sanitise the storage tank with food-grade peracetic acid. Done as part of the annual visit at no extra charge. Keeps bacterial load undetectable.

2-yr warranty · 5-yr housings

Full 2-year manufacturer warranty on the system. Housings warranted 5 years against leaks. CleverBloom handles any warranty claim direct with Ecosoft — you don’t ship cartridges across Europe.
