A radiator heats the air around it. An infrared panel heats people and objects directly — the same way the sun warms you on a cool day. You feel warm even when the air temperature is lower than usual.
The panel mounts flat on a wall or ceiling. Only 18 mm deep — it almost disappears. Comes in white or anthracite to match your decor.
Infrared heat travels in straight lines, like light. The panel warms whatever is in front of it — you on the sofa, the floor, the walls. Those things then keep the room warm for you.
Eight sizes from 200 W (small bathroom) up to 1,350 W (large living room). We pick the right size during the home visit — usually about 60–80 W per m² for a well-insulated room.
Plugs straight into a normal socket or wires into a circuit. Nothing to leak, nothing to break, nothing to service. Just electricity in, warmth out.
FIRE+ICE heats the main living room from outside air (cheap, efficient). LAVA panels handle bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways. Together they cover 50–150 m² flats. This is the WohnBau Mönchengladbach 2025 pilot system.

BASIC version
A separate thermostat on the wall controls when the panel switches on and off. Like a normal heating thermostat — familiar, no app needed. Required by EU rules for any heater above 250 W, and CleverBloom supplies the thermostat as standard.
SMART version
Built-in radio control plus smartphone app. Set a weekly schedule, change the temperature from another room, group several panels together. Costs a little more, useful if you have multiple panels across the flat.
Weekly schedule
Warm the bathroom 15 minutes before you wake up. Cool down when you leave for work. Once set, runs automatically.
Per-room independent
Each panel has its own thermostat — so the bedroom can be cool while the bathroom is warm. No central system to balance.
No internet required
BASIC version doesn’t need WiFi at all. SMART works without internet too — the app talks to the panel locally over its own short-range radio.

Wipe clean
Powder-coated metal surface. Wipe with a soft damp cloth occasionally. That’s the only maintenance needed.
Nothing to service
No moving parts, no refrigerant, no fluid. Nothing for a service engineer to check. If it works on day one, it works on year twenty.
Bathroom-safe
IP X4 protection — splash-resistant. Safe to install in bathrooms following standard bathroom-zone electrical regulations.
No VAT on the install
UK government has removed VAT on energy-saving heating installs until March 2027. Saves 20% on installation cost.
Heat pump unit only. Radiators, UFH, and emitters are on the heating page.
