sMove s4 controller

Hardwired wall controller for up to 2× iV-Twin+ units. 5-year manufacturer warranty. Capacitive touch buttons switch between operating modes.

Four ventilation modes

Four pre-defined airflow levels selected at the controller. Modes correspond to humidity-protection, reduced, nominal, and intensive ventilation per DIN 1946-6.

Infinite slider

For finer control beyond the four presets, the slider allows infinitely variable airflow. Useful for tuning to exact bathroom or kitchen size.

HYG18 humidistat (3-in-1 set)

External room hygrostat with digital RH/temperature display. Threshold and switching hysteresis set with rotary knob. Integrates with the sMove s4 to trigger demand-controlled ventilation when humidity rises. Pre-bundled in the 3-in-1 Bathroom Set; optional add-on otherwise.

Boost function

15-minute timed boost at the controller — for clearing post-shower steam, cooking smells, or rapid air change. Returns to the previously set mode automatically when the timer ends.

Pause function

Temporarily stop ventilation for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. Auto-resumes at the previously set mode.

Three operating modes

Heat recovery (default — supply and extract simultaneously through separated halves), ventilation (single direction without HR for fast purge), and pause/stop. Selectable at the controller.

Frost protection

Each Mini-Xenion fan has its own temperature monitor. Below −20°C the unit pauses to prevent ice on the ceramic cores, then resumes when conditions allow.

Operating hours counter

Built into the sMove controller — useful for scheduling filter cleaning at consistent intervals (typically every 3–6 months in moist rooms).

Wall opening

Ø225 mm core hole. Minimum wall thickness 270 mm. Same drilling as iV-Zero — one hole, no second cut required for pairing.

Twin Mini-Xenion® fans

Two reversing fans in half-cylinder design, each with own temperature monitor and wind-pressure stabiliser. They operate together — one extracts while the other supplies.

Two ceramic accumulators

Two half-cylinder ceramic cores, one per fan. Vertical separator prevents air streams from mixing. Heat passes from outgoing to incoming air through the cores.

Vertical air separator

Built into the wall sleeve, inner cover, and weather hood. Maintains complete physical separation between the supply and exhaust streams from outdoor cap to room.

Wall sleeve D200

Standard 495 mm length R-D200 wall sleeve with vertical air-flow separation. Inventin sound-insulating shell.

Flair Twin+ inner cover

Internal panel 233 × 233 mm, vertical separator built in. RAL 9010 white standard. Sound-insulating Connect variants available.

Weather Hood Flex Twin+

External protective hood 279 × 313 mm with built-in air separation. Choice of white (RAL 9016), grey (RAL 9006), or anthracite (RAL 7016) — custom RAL on order.

Two G3 filters (standard)

One per fan, ISO Coarse 45%. Pollen and activated carbon filter upgrades available for both halves simultaneously.

5 year warranty

inVENTer covers the unit for 5 years from commissioning. Manufactured in Germany since 1999. ISO 9001 quality system, full CE conformity.

25+ year design life

Ceramic accumulators have no degradation path. Mini-Xenion brushless fans rated 50,000+ hours continuous operation. Inventin insulation does not settle or compress.

Filter change (twin filters)

Every 3–6 months in bathrooms and kitchens — both filters change together. Pull cartridges, wash or replace, slot back. Takes 4 minutes for the pair.

Optional pollen filter

Upgrade for hay-fever sufferers and high-pollen areas. Activated-carbon variant available for kitchens — captures cooking smells, frying odours, NOx from gas hobs.

No service contract

No annual servicing required. No smart subscriptions, no remote monitoring fees. The unit just runs.

No refrigerant

Purely mechanical — fans, ceramic, no F-gas. No regulated handling, no leak risk, no phase-out concerns.
