Airflow Range ~240 m³/h rated Adjustable via variable-speed EC motor. Typical residential range: 60–180 m³/h. C6M humidity-demand control auto-adjusts.

Humidity-demand control

Built-in sensor adjusts motor speed automatically. Ramping: low speed at <40% RH, medium at 40–60%, high at >60%. Reduces unnecessary fan runtime in dry conditions.

Modbus RS-485

Standard on C6M. Connects to building BMS, home automation, or landlord remote-monitoring system. Real-time diagnostics: airflow, motor speed, filter status, temperature.

Manual override

Wall-mounted 3-speed selector. Boost function for peak demand (e.g. cooking, showering). C6M remembers speed preference after override timer expires.

Summer bypass damper

Manual or thermostatic. When outdoor air is warmer than indoor, damper opens to bypass the heat exchanger. Fresh air enters without cooling from the core.

01 Location External wall cavity (100+ mm void), service riser, or partition recess. No ceiling void required. Ideal for retrofits where ceiling height is constrained.

02 Duct routing Supply air: external wall grille. Extract air: kitchen, bathrooms, or utility room. Flexible ducting through partition voids.

03 Electrical 230 V, single-phase. Low power draw (~50–80 W at mid-speed). Standard household circuit. Control wiring for humidity sensor + optional Modbus.

04 Fit day process Phone consultation → fit day (unit mounted, ductwork integrated, controls tested) → use walkthrough. No separate site survey — engineer checks conditions on fit day.

Supply-side Filter G4 (standard) or F7 activated carbon G4 for clean-air areas. F7 for London, traffic corridors, or high-pollution zones. Filters dust, pollen, PM2.5, and odours.

Extract-side Filter G4 dust Protects the enthalpy core from lint and kitchen grease. Change every 6–12 months depending on cooking and occupancy.

Filter Change Interval 6–12 months typical EC motor load increases visibly when filters clog. Visual inspection hatches on the unit show condition. Low-speed operation may indicate supply-side blockage.
