Humidity-demand control

Built-in sensor adjusts motor speed automatically. Ramping: low speed at <40% RH, medium at 40–60%, high at >60%. Reduces unnecessary fan runtime in dry periods.

Manual override

Wall-mounted 3-speed selector. High-capacity boost function for peak occupancy periods. C5 remembers user preference after override timer expires.

Summer bypass damper

Manual or thermostatic. When outdoor air is warmer than indoor, damper opens to bypass the heat exchanger. Fresh air enters without cooling from the core — critical for comfort in large open-plan commercial spaces.

BMS integration option

C5 is the standard control variant. For building automation, CO₂ demand control, or remote monitoring, contact CleverBloom to discuss bespoke control packages.

01 Location Suspended ceiling void, loft above insulation, or accessible basement ceiling. Unit lies horizontally. Height clearance required: ~500 mm above and below for inspection, filter access, and acoustic treatment.

02 Duct connections Top-mounted or side-mounted ducts depending on void geometry. Supply air delivered to all occupied spaces via grilles. Extract from kitchens, bathrooms, utility areas via multiple points.

03 Electrical 230 V, single or 3-phase. Power draw at rated flow (~150–200 W at mid-speed). May require dedicated circuit. Control wiring for humidity sensor.

04 Fit day process Phone consultation → site survey (for large commercial, recommended) → fit day (unit mounted, ductwork integrated, controls tested, acoustic treatment installed) → use walkthrough and staff training.

Supply-side Filter F7 activated carbon (standard, "F" variant) F7 is the default for Verso CF 2500 F C5. Filters dust, pollen, PM2.5, and odours. Recommended for all urban and commercial locations.

Extract-side Filter G4 dust (large cartridge) Protects the enthalpy core from lint, kitchen grease, and facility-specific contaminants. Change every 3–6 months in high-use commercial settings.

Filter Change Interval 3–12 months (application-dependent) Residential: 6–12 months. Commercial kitchens or high-occupancy spaces: 3–6 months. EC motor load increases visibly when filters clog. Visual inspection hatches aid condition assessment.
